This was a very special shoot for me!
I was traveling home to Jamaica last summer, and I wanted to do a photoshoot, which has always been a dream of mine to do. I searched on Instagram for different photographers in Montego Bay Jamaica, and I came across Kashif Robinson. I got in contact with him and it was magic from there on. We came up with different concepts.
I wanted a look I have never done before, Hair, Makeup, Clothes and Location. I went with a fierce pony tail, natural glam makeup, and a Boss pants suit .
My hair hairdresser styled my hair the night before the shoot. She is located in Montego Bay Town (Venneiq Haircare). Packed my bag with 5 different looks, heels and makeup.
Got my makeup done the morning of, and was ready to start slaying this shoot!
Preparing to do my shoot at the SHotel. I was a little nervous, the sun was very hot, and the jacket was sticking to my skin, but Kashif made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. My nerves went in the ocean, and I started having fun. I did this look plus 3 swimsuits in the pool and on the beach. I also worked with 2 other photographers that came with Kashif (Yanic Barrett @yanicmb and Laquaine Piper @bwoi1da.piper). Yanic did BTS videos with his drone, and it came out beautifully. It was a great shoot day! Definitely cannot wait for another trip to Jamaica to work with these guys again. Great team work and very professional.
The SHotel was very accommodating, I stayed a night there. The room is very spacious and the view of the pool and ocean was breathtaking.
Lush Magazine approached me enquiring about the photos and wanted to feature me in May's Edition. I was super excited! That would have made my 2nd Publication.
I was ecstatic when I saw my tear sheet! (picture above)
